    1. Re: [FAGAN] Welcome
    2. I too would welcome some activity. My FAGAN relative is my Grandmother. ALICE FAGAN. She was born in Co DOWN Ireland 1873 I am told. She died 3 yrs before I was born. She married VALENTINE HERBERT in Pittsburgh Pa. My dad was the youngest of 11 children they had. I really do not know of but 2 relatives living that can help, so I am trying to find out about her or how I can get info on her from others. She is a big mystery to me. I do have a couple of beautiful photos of her and that is all.Any help woulf be appreciated, and thanks for reading this. Virginia HERBEERT TEAL

    3. Hi List, After doing some checking (browsing the archives) I have found that this is not a very active list. There are currently 77 members on the Fagan list. We need to generate some activity! I am going to ask for a Roll Call. Please include as much information you have to include dates, places, etc. This will make a connection easier. Have any of you looked at spelling variations? My ancestors (more recent) used Feagans but have seen it as Feagins, Fagans, Feagan, etc. I really couldn;t find much until I started looking into the spelling variations. I still find much difficulty with this surname. Also, if anyone knows a little history about the name, origins, etc that would be great too. What do you think about adding some of the history and culture when our Fagan ancestors lived? Let me know what you think about this one........I'm trying to come up with some ways for some activity. Please e-mail me privately on this subject and I will posts the results. Thanks, Lisa List Admin
