    3. Hi: I, also, am researching the FAGAN family, however, my Fagans are from Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath, Ireland. I am wondering if somewhere along the line, some of the many Fagan families in Westmeath moved to Scotland. My Fagans are as follows: Luke Fagan Spouse: Elizabeth Halton Children: Anne Fagan, b.1829 Mary Fagan, b. 1831 Bessie Fagan, b. 1833 Peter Fagan, b. 1836 Catherine Fagan, b. 1841 Bridget Fagan, b. 1843 The children were baptized in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Castlepollard. The Fagan family emigrated to New York City about 1853. I have successfully traced Luke, Elizabeth, Bessie and Bridget Fagan in New York and New Jersey. I still have not located Peter, Catherine and Mary. I looked through some of my Fagan documents, but, did not find any records for Hugh Fagan. Should I happen to come across information on Hugh Fagan in my research, I will send the information onto you.
