Dear list I am researching for a friend, whose FAGAN family info. starts with Edward Joseph FAGAN, born on St Helena Island 8 Oct. 1910. He married Doris Ivy SMITH who was from Durban South Africa, and they had three children, Audrey, Gwen and Brian. We would love to know more about the roots further back from Edward Joseph FAGAN, and would appreciate information or tips on how to proceed. We have found one E J FAGAN on the IGI, who may be related, but no definite connection. Also, on the SA archives, there are a few FAGAN's, born St Helena, who may also be related.
