Betty, I have not been able to find where in Ireland, my Phillip Phagan/Fagan was from. The trail stops cold before I located Phillip in Augusta Co., Va. I have a record of him applying for a marriage license for him and Martha Newman, daughter of Rev. Samuel Newman. Then, in 1765 the whole group left for S. C. Some of them later went to Ga. where land was being opened up. Then my family, Claud VAnderbilt Fagan, moved back to S.C. in 1934. My parents are deceased and I live in West Palm Beach, Fl. Harriette
