Well......I'm back..........I think I had better back up and re-think any connection to your Richard . Been following the post's, and just can not discount the line of your old Richard ...yet. Hope its not too much of a bother to ask about the families of Hugh brothers. Took a long hard look at Pa. and note how the land lay in Monongalia Co.. and since so many families of east Ky. came from that border area I just can't rule out a possible Pa-Va. connection. And...since some of your Richard's lines go into that area............well guess I am still chasing my own Evans's all around the mountains. But have noted some of you have really worked long, and hard on the Evans family, and have a great deal of knowledge. For this reason, I am respectively asking for ANY , and all ideas on my Richard W. 's family. If anyone can help unravel the different Evans families of Monongalia, that would really start to straighten out some of Ohio-Ky Evans bunch. .I know they can not all be related.......but there were just too many of them showing up along the Ohio River area into East Ky. Then turning up in southern Ohio counties along with other Evans families from Pa. I'll stop blabbing now...............and just "listen"......really enjoy your exchanges. Kaye Farley Palacios quick re-cap of my Richard W.-born ca. 1760-70 - was in eastern Ky. by 1800...last record was 1830 census being 60-70 yr. Living beside Phillip Evans & John Evans both 20-30 .. few houses away was Evan evans 30-40. marriage of daughter Mahala in Lewis Co. Ky. 1826 witnessed by Phillip Evans.. relationship not known. One history I have read list's Phillip as son of David..and g-son of Elijah...have no idea how correct that is??????? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Thorn" <p_aculeius@hotmail.com> To: <evans-richard@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, December 13, 2010 4:04 PM Subject: Re: [EVANS-RICHARD] children of John and Nancy Windsor Evans > > Are you certain that these are the children of John Evans and Nancy > Windsor, and not the children of John W.
