    3. Are you certain that these are the children of John Evans and Nancy Windsor, and not the children of John W. Evans and Nancy Wells? My feeling is that the John Evans who married Nancy Windsor in 1814 should be part of the same family as John Evans, who married Elizabeth Windsor in 1805 (and they could perhaps be the same person; if Elizabeth died, her husband might have married her sister). I'm reasonably certain that the John Evans who married Elizabeth Windsor was the son of Gerard Evans, and grandson of Edward Evans and Sarah Wood. However, the list of children given here looks like it must belong to the family of John Evans, Sr., who was not related to Edward's family. John W. Evans, apparently the son of Dudley Evans and Anarah Williams, and grandson of John Evans, Sr., married Nancy Wells in 1813, just before the other John Evans married Nancy Windsor. The list of children below includes Nimrod and Arah, who appear to be named after Nimrod Evans and Anarah Williams, John W. Evans' uncle and mother, respectively. This leads me to conclude that these children probably belong to John W. Evans and Nancy Wells, and to the John Evans, Sr. family.
