My great grandmother, Demia Evans is a descendant of Samuel and Richard Evans,according to the info I haveElizabeth Hall and Jesse K Evans were Demia's parents my info has Hiram Evans as his father Eliz Hall parents Harvey Hall and Mary polly Bowman,whose parents were Elisha Bowman and Ann Evans, her parents were Edward Evans and Margeret Bowman, and Eward Evans parents were Samuel Evans and Dorothy or Nancy Collville whose ancesters came from Ireland and Scotland.I had my DNA done and matches that are coming have the same last names of many of the people listed in this family tree. if this is true that means that through the collville line going back Alison Bruce whose a descendant of Robt. the Bruce, she married a colville, and this is backed up in the offical Bruce Clan Geneolgy These family trees that I have are from ancestry .com and one world tree. I dont know how much this is right except that my mother has varified some of later generations. I would like to be able to know if this is correct. If alot of this is. then I came from 4 to 5 old scottish clans, my dna supports the scottish connection. I would surely like your feedback on all of this. Can someone help out here. I had the parents of the Edward Evans who married Margaret Bowman as John Evans and Sarah Davies/Davis.... not Samuel Evans and Dorothy [or Nancy ] Collville? Colville?
