I work on this line, (my name is Ernestine Hess) The Edward Evans that married Margaret Bowman ,but have not worked on it for a while due to the illness and the death of my husband. The Evans line is his. Where you only go to Jessie ,my husbands line is his brother John. John married Nancy Plummer in KY. John & Nancy came to (was on KY census of 1850) TX and are buried in an Evans Cemetery in Titus County Texas. Jessie is Joe Evans line. By the way the Evans Bible shows the name spelled Evins until they came to Texas. -------------------------------------------------- From: "Evans-Richard List Administrator" <listadministratorevans@earthlink.net> Sent: Thursday, March 11, 2010 5:56 PM To: <evans-richard@rootsweb.com> Subject: [EVANS-RICHARD] Need help with this line > Can someone help out here.
