Renee, Edward Evans (m. Margaret Bowman) was the son of John Evans. I do not know where Robin may have found the information about Samuel and the Colville, but I have seen that before, too. However, that is not correct. Both I and Joe Evans of Texas go back to this Edward, through his son, Jesse. Robin goes back to Edward through Jesse also, but additonally through a second child of Edward's: Ann (Evans) Bowman.
