Isaac Evans 2 Jan/12 Feb 1812: Isaac and Jane Morton married Fairfield County, Ohio by John Wallace JP. +Dec Term 1812: Know all men by these Presents that We Isaac Evans, Samuel Swearingen and Richard Douglas, all of Ross County and State of Ohio are held firmly bond unto John M. Landburgh, Treasurer for the County of Ross and his Successors in office in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars, lawful money of the United States of America to be paid to the said Treasurer or his successors in Office. For which Payment well and truly to be made and done we bind Ourselves, Our Heirs, Executors and administrators firmly by these Presents signed with our Seals and dated this ____ day of ____. Whereas the Court of Court of Common Pleas for Ross County aforesaid have this day an application of Horatio Evans, a minor child about the age of fourteen years, and he having chosen the aforesaid Isaac Evans his Guardian and likewise having appointed the Said Isaac Evans Guardian to Magmus Barnhouse and Augustus Barnhouse Minors under the age of fourteen years and Ordered him to be enter as such. Now the Condition of the above obligation is such that if the said Isaac Evans shall discharge with fidelity the trust reposed in him by Tendering an accurate statement of all his transactions with a just and true account of the profits arising and deliver up the same to the court, at such time as they require, then this Obligation shall be void.
