Hi I am working with the huge 3 vols Genealogical and Personal History of Fayette County, PA Here's my problem I had the parents of Col. Charles Swan [Swon] married to Sarah Van Meter as John Swan married to Elizabeth Evans Lucas now here is where the problem occurs... I had the parents of John Swan as John Swan and Elizabeth Greene... and that's as far back as I went HOWEVER the book has the parents of John Swan married to Elizabeth Evans Lucas as Moses Swan married to Jean Barnett and Moses' parents as the immigrant Richard Swan. Now... I can't remember whee I got John Swan and Elizabeth Greene... so I want to know... Who do you have as the parents of John Swan married to Elizabeth Evans Lucas and do you think I ought to remove John Swan and Elizabeth Greene and replace with Moses and Jean, as per the book? R.
