Karen ------------------ *Addendum to the Descendants of the Drummer Boy: Edward Evans of VA* John Evans 1783 Va, married Elizabeth Ann Windsor. This John Evans 1783 is said to be another son of the Drummer Boy. He had a farm in Decatur, Indiana. This Evans Family ended up in Missouri. Their daughter, Deliah Evans, married Russell Newman, the son of John Newman. Delilah and Russell with most of their children headed to Idaho from Missouri. From there several sons went into Klamath Falls, Oregon, thus we find many of the Drummer Boy's descendants headed West. The pioneer graveyards in Idaho are filled with Evans and surnames. The Towell Wagon Train is reported to have had Evans members on this wagon train.
