Born about 1796, died june 6, 1879, buried Overfield Cemetery, Meshoppen, PA. This man was my ggg grandfather. I do not know who he married or anthing further about him. His daughter was Sarah Ann Transue, born 1837 per PA census and Sept. 16, 1839 per her tombstone. She died March 8, 1900 and is buried in Oaklawn Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, PA. She married first George Snowden Evans, born June 30, 1837 in Poplar Valley, Monroe Co., Pa (near Stroudsburg, PA), and died 1878, and is buried in Meshoppen, PA, where he moved with his wife Sarah and father in law, Abraham.
