I am an EVANS who is a descendent of EDWARD EVANS (B: abt 1765 in ??? (Virginia/West Virginia/Pennsylvania??) & D: 1838 in Clay County, Kentucky). There is some evidence that he may have been a son or grandson of SAMUEL(son) or RICHARD (father) who were from Wales & Pennsylvania and apparently moved to MONONGALIA COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA in 1790 during the Whiskey Rebellion. Do you know who your descendents were back to late 1700s or early 1800s & also WHERE were they born???
