Hello Everyone, The message sent below was in response to an Evans Message Board post (which I have included) that is gatewayed to the list. As stated below the board post, the person that posted the query to the board may not even be on this mailing list. You need to go to the board to make comments and queries about the posting. If you see a message board post to the list, which will say [email protected] and Message Board URL , please go to the link in the message and answer at the message board. If I don't know where a location is, I Google it. I rarely have seen any queries throughout my 20 plus years of doing genealogy where someone puts the mileage from a large city to the area in question. But, if that is what someone would like, then ask nicely. That said, this has always been a very cordial and helpful list. "Shouting" at folks only insults the person and inflames a situation. I ask that everyone please refrain from doing so. I have changed the setting on the mailing list so that all responses to list queries go directly to the list, not to the person that asked it. That way the answer may benefit someone else.
