I do not know. I have been tracing my Evans' line backwards, and Alfred is as far as I got. His children have some unusual names, and I was hoping that some of these names might have been passed down in the family, making it easier to find the right family. He had one son named Jasper, one son named Evander, and one daughter named Arazona. Their brother, Henry, named one of his sons Evander Persival Evans. A family having unusual names fits into the profile of the Evans family I'm looking for. Alabama or maybe Mississippi, between 1810 and 1840. As you can see, I don't have much to go on but sooner or later there will be a link. please keep me in mind.
