EVANS on the 1860 WEBSTER County, GA census. He is in his early 20s at this time and still living with his parents, my ggg grandparents Turner and Ridley Wood Evans. The census taker totally mispelled their names which explains why I have not found them before. Turner is listed as Truman and their last name is listed on the census as IVANS !! I am still trying to determine where William T. Evans was after this point and trying to find descendants who may have confirmed family history further back than him and his parents. I believe both Turner and Ridley died the same year this 1860 census was taken, or soon after. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
