They had a son John, b. 1822 Risca Wales. John married twice, (1) Martha_____ b. 1823, (2)Elizabeth_____b. 1839 John and Martha had four childen John b. 1842 Risca Charles P. b. 1844 Risca Edward b. 1848 Risca Martha b. 1850 Risca Charles was my great grandfather. He married Matilda Fry. Do any of these names, and dates come up in any of your family history? Or have you come across this family while researching your Edward? This is all I have of Charles, and his ancestors. In fact, I have no idea what became of Charles after he left his wife, Matilda, and their four children,( John,.1869 Mary,b.1875 Albert,b.1880 and William, b1884( born in Pennsylvania)) after they came to America in 1880. He had to have left sometime after 1884, when my grandfather was born. He never knew his father. Charles and Matilda also had another daughter,Matilda born in 1867, in Bassaleg Wales. She either died, or stayed behind when the family came to America. I would appreciate anything you can share.
