I'm fairly new to genealogy but I've seen a number of family trees stating that William H. is the "original" Roland's son, but the math doesn't work. He died in 1781 and William wasn't born until 1813. I did find a Rolin Evens in the 1820 St. Matthew's Parish portion of the SC census. I believe that may be Roland's son Roland mis-spelled.
