I know a couple people who are descendants of a Thomas Evans who moved to MS from GA after his first wife Nancy died. This would have been sometime in the 1830s if I remember right. I have been trying to confirm if this same Thomas Evans was a brother to my ggg grandfather Turner Evans, born 1793 GA. Have also been told that both of these brothers had a sibling named Anselm Lynch Evans, which has not been confirmed. Do any of these names sound familiar to you ?
