Hello to all Evans families and their family lines, I have just discovered I may still have relatives in Indiana with the name today of Griffith or Griffiths. They come from an Evans line in Wales. Ishmel Evans b. abt 1784 had two sons, that I know of. The older was David E. Evans b. 1816 m. Jane Davies and this line comes to me. The other son was Jonathan Evans b. 1822 m. Mariah Kelly. Their daughter Margaret Melissa b. 1846 m. William Griffiths. Their son John Lewis Griffiths b. 1870 m. Margaret Bain. Their son William Griffiths b. 1889 m. Maude Elsie Wheeler. It is this line that has my relatives. Any information that can be added to either the Evans or Griffiths family would be heartily accepted. Louise Dorang
