Hello to the Evans Group from a newbie to the group! I am reseaching Mary Ann Evans (1839 GA-1921 TX) m. (1848 MS) William Wear May (1835 AL-1878 MS) Her parents: Thomas J. Evans (ca 1811 GA- 1889 TX) m. (1838 GA) Henrietta Clayton (1821 GA- bef 1873 MS) His parents: Aaron May (1810 TN- 1888 AL) m. (1837 MS) Mary Ann "Anny" Gilmore (ca 1810 GA- bef 1863 AL) My brick wall is with Aaron May and an uncertain link to Anny Gilmore's parents. I know that's not part of this list, but if anyone is looking at Mary Ann Evans, there might be some info about her family and her husband to share. I did some searches in the Evans Archives, so maybe some of you have found more information recently. Thanks, hopefully!
