He md a Jone Howerton in Prince Edwards Co., VA in 1780. I think Thomas' parents would have been in Amelia or Prince Edward around that time. I have been working on finding Thomas'parents. Here are some possible connections of Thomas I have found thus far: In 1736 Amelia Co., VA Tithables John EVANS & Robert EVANS below Deep Creek 1736 Amelia Co., VA A George EVANS receives 400 acres on upper side of Flatt Cr 1741 Amelia Co., VA Robert EVANS receives 400 acrres on both sides of Buffalo Cr in the fork of Nottaway. 1756 Amelia Co., VA A THOMAS EVANS of Dinwiddle to James Jeter 160 acres on the north side of Nottoway River, being of a larger tract of 323 acres patented by JOHN EVANS, adjoining lines of ROBERT EVANS & Hardaway. 1773 Amelia Co., VA Will of Ann Stern, mother of John EVANS. Note: Was this Ann 1st md to an EVANS then 2ndnly to a STERNS? 1777 Prince Edward Co., VA THOMAS EVANS entered service of Rev War. This is my Thomas EVANS. Are you familiar with any of these names?
