Because this is not my direct line I do not have a great deal of information and what I do have is a little sketchy. But from what I have been able to gather this Thomas Evans was born sometime before 1765 in Wales. He apparently immigrated to Virginia where his son Benjamin was born. The only census that I was able to find Thomas in was in the 1810 census in Adair County, Kentucky where Benjamin was married. The only other bit of information I have, although not proven, is that Thomas's wife's given name might have been Lavinia. Based on your subsequent postings it appears that we are talking about two different Thomases, but I thought I would pass on to you what I have in case it would be of any interest to you.
