I'm interested in finding other people descended from the Evans of N. Wales. My mitochondrial DNA is Haplogroup T2 and I have found another person who is an exact match who's ancestor was Elizabeth Evans b. 1816 Welshpool. Although the mtDNA follows the direct female line these people often married their cousins so the mtDNA may help connect families.
