I am looking for the parents and birth information for Richard Evans who married Joanna Allen Standley Eborns in Beverly, MA in 1764. They had children Priscilla, Joanna, and Ebenezer Giles Evans. Joanna had previous children. Daughters Priscilla and Joanna are found as adults in the Sedgwick area of Hancock County, ME. Ebenezer stayed or returned to Essex County, MA. Joanna, the mother, married William Halley/Hawley in 1780, so I assume Richard died sometime before that. Seems Joanna had bad luck with husbands' dying. She was then Joanna Allen Standley Eborns Evans Hawley. It is possible that Richard died in Maine, as both daughters married there in 1787 and 1790. I have so little information on Richard. All I know is that he is my ancestor and he married in Beverly in 1764. I would appreciate any help finding more info. Claire
