Thank you for your response. There were two Andrew Evans' that were born about the same time, lived in the same general area during their lifetime, and who served in the Rev War. Some confuse the two. Andrew Evans (#1) born 28 Sep 1759 Mecklenburg CO, NC, died 05 Dec 1840 Harrison Twp., Owen CO, Indiana. He married Elizabeth Fain the d/o Nicholas Fain and Elizabeth Taylor. This Andrew Evans (#1) is not to be confused with the Andrew Evans (#2) born Apr 1763, VA, and died Abt. 09 Apr 1839 in Rhea CO, TN. This 'other' Andrew (#2) is of my Evans clan, and he marr to Jane'Jean' Creswell the d/o WilliamHenry Creswell. Andrew Evans (#2) was the s/o 'my' Samuel Evans & Ann Colville. I am interested in both Andrews. I believe that they could be cousins of sorts. We have several DNA participants (FamilyTreeDNA - Evans DNA Project)from my Evans clan, but not from the Andrew (#1) & Elizabeth (Fain) Evans group. There are quite a few of us interested in finding a living male descendant of this line. I did find the Gordan Aronhime Papers listed in the LVA catalogue, but could not find any information, or reference to either Andrew Evans in them. I did see the Colville reference in these papers, but no further information online. Would you please send me a link to your online database?
