Abel EVANS was born About 1812 in Baltimore, MD. He married Eliza Amos. They raised their family of 4 children in Ohio. Abel died 30 August 1884, and is buried at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Baltimore MD. Abel and Eliza's first son Joseph H Evans was born 1836 in Ohio. Mary Ann Evans was born 1837 in Ohio. William Evans (my great grandfather) was born 2 Jan 1839 in possibly Youngstown, Ohio. Sophia Evans was born 1847 in Ohio. William Evans and his brother Joseph came back to MD and served in the Civil War from Baltimore, MD. William married Margaret Ann Catherine Hale 30 March 1865 in Baltimore, MD. I have the names of their children, including my Grandmother, Alverta Lavinia Evans (married Heintz). Who were Abel's parents? What happened to Eliza Amos Evans? Does anyone have any information on William's sisters. Any help will be appreciated.
