In 1880 he was living with Elisabeth Evans and was listed there as her cousin. Neighbors were David (or Daniel?) Evans, his wife Harriet, and sons William W., Walden, and Walley (or Valley?) Evans. Adam's parents were born in KY & OH. Elisabeth was born in KY in 1812, and her parents in PA & KY. Is this a part of your family? I am trying to determine whether this is the same Adam Evans who later appears in the 1900 census in Gallatin, Illinois, with wife Rachel A. Evans. The Adam Evans I am searching for may have married Rachel C. Snyder in Ohio. Thank you for any help you may be able to give me.
