I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Arlie & Opal EVANS which was taken at the Gordon Studio in Griswold, Iowa. The photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900's with the two children appearing to be 1-3 years old at the time the photograph was taken, the boy being the oldest of the two. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding this family: Arlie Edward EVANS b. 10 Apr 1905 in Pottawattamie Co. IA to parents Morton Riley EVANS (b. 20 Apr 1868 in Morgan Co. OH) and Flora Valeria BELL (b. 23 Jun 1881 in Edgar, IL). Arlie married Verna APT in Dec 1925 in Griswold, IA and died 19 Oct 1977 in Clarke Co. IA. I am hoping to locate someone from this EVANS Family so that the photograph can be returned to its rightful place with family.
