Elias H Cowans parents were William Flemon Cowan & Mary Ann Prim Cowan. Elias married Martha Lucinda Evans on 06-15-1881 in Circleville, Williamson Co., Texas. Martha Lucinda Evans parents were James Felix Evans & Narcissa Ann Mathews. Martha died 01-15-1947 in Granger, Williamson Co., Texas under the name of Mrs. Martha L. Buckner. Elias & Martha had the following children: Ruth Ann Cowan who married Lee Turner. Don't have anything else on them. Hollie Myrtle Cowan, born 11-28-1890/91. She died 07-07-1926 in Winters, Runnels Co., Texas. She is buried in the Pumphrey Cem under the name of Mollie M. Hinkle. She married a L. M. Hinkle on 12-12-1909 in Runnels Co., Texas.
