Possibly in N. I haven't been back to W-B to go to the court house and really look for him. His father was Jonathan Evans b.1849 Wales. Arrived in US 1869 on ship `England',with mother,Jane,and brothers Dennis and Alban. They joined the father David Evans in Luzerne County, PA. I got started researching when I accompanied a friend to the Wilkes-Barre Court House. While she researched I just browsed. I kept finding a David Ishmel Evans and thought, `What a different name.' When I returned to Texas I found my Mothers' bible and lo and behold there was David Ishmel Evans!! He was a son of Jonathans first marriage. I am from his second marriage and my Grandmother lived with us til she died in 1942. Does this fit anywhere in your families? I have just recently found relatives in Indiana.
