His widow was Ella Brown Evans, his date of birth was 06/23/1886, age at death was 69. His occupation had been "with Southern Ry." He was born in Georgia, and his father's name was C.T.P. Evans, also born in Georgia. His mother's name was Judith Bassett, born in Georgia. The informant on the death certificate was Mrs. W. R. Evans at 324 Jenkins St., Macon, GA (his newly widowed wife). Cause of death: Influenza, Bronchiopneumonia, with chronic nephritis as contributory factor. He was to be buried at Riverside Cemetery in Macon.
