I am looking for information on a John W Evans, or JW Evans, born about 1842 according to a marriage cert found in Knox County Ky, to a Sarah Patterson. John Evans also had a daughter, my grandmother Pearl Evans Epperson in 1890-91. Also had a son of the name of Jesse Evans born about or around the same time as Pearl by another woman. Story is Jesse(son)lived in Flat Lick Ky and still have family there. Any information on this family would be appreciated. Wrappping up the family tree and only names missing for me are John W Evans parents and himself.
