Does anyone know of Laura EVANS who came to the U.S. from Wales sometime between 1787 and 1808? I know she was in NYS in 1808 because that is the date that she married Seth BOARDMAN in Utica NY. Why Utica, I don't know! They resided in Cazenovia NY and Chittenango NY (both Madison County). They also resided in Ontario County NY for a short time because that is where Adrian V. BOARDMAN (their 4th child) was born. I believe that Seth may have been previously married because 3 of "their" children were born prior to 1808 (unless whoever transcribed their wedding info thought a "3" was and "8" and put 1808 which should have been 1803)!
