    3. Is there anyone on the list doing research on Richard EVANS Jr. who died in 1693. Was he descended from the Royal line Prince Modoc came from. Prince Modoc is said to have explored Alabama. Even though this is viewed as myth it make a pretty good tale to pass down to ones children. How can I get a copy of Richard Evans Jr.'s will? His wife Elizabeth married my 8thgreatgrandfather James Oates 11 Sept 1694 in Perquimans County NC. Richard and Elizabeth's children were Jonathan, Richard III, Rebecca, Ann, and Sarah. Old Albemarle County Perquimans Precinct Births, Marriages, Deaths, & Flesh Marks 1659-1820 shows Rebecca's d.b. as 1688. Yet there is a Transportation of Persons Form which shows that all of the oldest children were born before 15 Aug. 1678. Now does this mean the three oldest or Ann as well. Ann died in 1700. Jonathan and Richard died Jonathan in 1723 and Richard III in 1752 both in Chowan County I believe. I know nothing about where Rebecca and Ann were at the time of their deaths. After James's death in 1703 Elizabeth married Richard French. His will in 1716 names a wife Elizabeth as his Executor. Any help on this would be grateful. Thanks Le
