Thomas' wife, Sarah Martha Elizabeth Roberts is a mystery. It seems she lived from 1695 to 1803(based on Weik's history of Putnam Co. Indiana). I am looking to find who her parents were and if there is any historical information on Thomas Evans. The information I have is that he served as a provisional govenor of PA when William Penn left for England. Was her father then involved in the politics of the day? There is a William Roberts during that time but nothing to connect the two. Thomas was born 1662 in Wales and died in PA 1756. Any information would be helpful!
