My line I think, is Walter Evans Jr. mentioned also in Leithold's book, and is George Evanses brother. My ggggrandfather was a Littleberry Evans from Russell Co. Va. born in Mecklenburg co. Va. 1760, died 1853 Russell Co. Va. Death certificate of Littleberry Evans lists his father As Walter Evans. I am asking for any male Evanses who may be a direct descendent to Walter Evans Sr. from wales to VA. to consider DNA testing. This would be a big help to me and many others who search for their Evans ancesters. My DNA is listed on www.familytreedna.com.
