EVANS had any children from his rather later marriage to Nannie N. HUNTER...but guess what? I found another posting that indicates that Nannie N. Hunter EVANS did remarry and that she had kids with her 1st husband Francis EVANS... Hunter, who had previouly been married to F. W. Evans. with Evans children; Mary, Ader & Maggie Evans. So there ya go - the EVANS line continues through these 3 children. Perhaps we can trace these children and find a descendant who can shed light on whether or not Eli EVANS and John Wesley EVANS were bros.
