McCollum. On her son's social security application he lists her is mother as Mary (Mollie) Evans. 2)On census records, sometimes she is listed as Mollie J. and other times Mary J. or Mary I. I have concluded that Mollie was her nickname. 3) The census records indicated her birth year is 1869 same as Mary J. or I.'s birth year in Warwick and Susan's family. 4) She also states that her parents were born in Georgia and South Carolina. I checked census records for all Evans families living in Jackson County. There were 5 or 6. The family heads old enough to be her parents, all were born in Alabama or Tennessee. Warwick and Susan are the only ones from Georgia and South Carolina...The same birth places for Warwick & Susan. 5) Dave McCollum and his family lived in Jackson County when she married him, specifically the same town Kirby's Mill that Warwick lived in. This is the only Evans family living there in Kirby's Mill at the time. 6) In the 1900 census, she and Dave are living next door to Leander R. Evans which would be her brother. 7) Her son's middle name was Asberry leading me to believe he was named after his uncle Asberry, brother to Warwick. Based on all of this evidence, I am reasonably certain that Mary J. or Mary I. and Mollie J. are one and the same daughter of Warwick.
