Hi! I am looking for anyone who can connect with the George Lincoln Evans in the following: Obituary Aberdeen Daily World, WA 9/2/1948 Geo. L. Evans, 90, dies at Centralia ?George L. Evans, pioneer resident of Western Washington, died Monday at a Centralia hospital, according to word received here today. Evans, a 20 year resident at Humptulips, was 90 years old. ?Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Cuttermole chapel, Winlock. Interment was to be in Sunset Memorial park, Hoquiam, later today. ?Evans was born in Iowa ( possibly Canton, KS)and came west in 1889. He settled on a farm in Winlock, moving to Humptulips in the 1920s. More recently he had stayed with a daughter, Mrs. John Heffley at Toledo, who died last week. ?He is survived by sons, Harry, Elma; James W., Milo, Ore.; Russell, Kenova; Robert, Hoquiam; Earl, Mansfield, and a daughter, May Evans of Springfield, Ore.
