EVANS TUESDAY Pasadena, October 18 - Last rites for Mrs. Ettie B. Evans, widow of the late Frank M. Evans, who died at her home, 64 North Madison Avenue, will be conducted at Inglewood Park Mausoleum Tuesday at 4 p.m.Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Evans was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania. After her marriage she lived in Pittsburgh until she and Mr. evans came to Los Angeles in 1896. Mrs. Evans was a member of the Pasadena Presbyterian Church, and a charter member of the Woman's City Club of Los Angeles. The Woman's Club of South Pasadena had honored Mrs. Evans by making her an honorary life member. She was a member of the National Woman's Relief Corps and the first president of the Woman's Auxiliary of the McKinley Boys' Home. Mrs. Evans leaves heer daughters, Mrs. A. Eugene Thompson of Chicago and Frances Maud Evans, Pasadena; a sister, Mrs. Della D. McCombs of Erie, Pennsylvania; a brother, Hugh P. Brawley, Meadville, Pennsylvania; two nephews, Harry M. Evans, San Francisco and Milton H. Brawley of Brea and a niece, Mrs. Clarence F. Newell of Long Beach. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
