Evans Mrs Leora B. Evans, 89, died Sunday in a nursing home at 572 E. Park St. Olathe where she lived. She was bon in Washington County, Tenn and had lived in Olathe since 1928. Mrs. Evans was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Olathe. She was a member of the Olathe Garden Club and the Harmony Homemakers Extension Club, Olathes. She leaves a stepson Frank Evans, Buffalo, Mo a stepdaughter, Mrs. Irene LaGere, Spring Hill in Johnson County; seven step grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren . Services will be a 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Frye Chapel, Olathe: burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the church. I do not know, nor am I researching this family. I happened on the obit in the newspaper and thought I would type it in for someone else at a later date.
