She was married to William George Evans and they were traveling with their family through Arkansas coming from N.C. Stories from some folks in Arkansas say she and William George Evans and the family died during the wagon train's journey through Arkansas. However, William G. Evans brought my great grandfather Joseph Wesley Evans and his siblings into west Texas so we doubt that he and the family died in Arkansas.
