I am seeking information on Jonathan EVANS son of Richard EVANS Jr. and Elizabeth LILLY. He was born in 1670. He married Mary LUTEN the daughter of Thomas LUTEN. They married in 1712. He died in 1723 or 25 in CHowan County NC. He was born in Virginia. He was the eldest of five children. These children were named in their father Richard's will in 1693. Jonathan, Richard III, Rebecca, Ann, and Sarah. Richard and Sarah both died in Beaufort and Chowan Counties in 1753 and 52. . RIchard may have died in Chowan, but his will was probated in Beaufort County in 1753. Is there anyone doing research on this family. Also several documents show Rebecca was born between 15 Aug 1675 and 1688. Old Albemarle County Perquimans County Probate Records show her d.b. in 1688, and the Transportation of Persons Form shows that all of Richard and Elizabeth's eldest children were born before 15 Aug 1678.
