An aunt of mine kept enough history for me to know that my grandfather was Jasper Evans born in Cumberland in 1897, his dad was Isham Evans born in Cumberland in 1866, and his dad was George Washington Evans born in Cumberland in 1840. We think Grandpa Geo Washington was married at first to Phylis and we know he later married Marzilla. I suspect Wash's dad's name was Peter but I'm not sure. Anything you learn please let me know and anything I learn, I will do the same including researching Lucy.
