Her name was Edna and she was born in a mid-western state during the summer of 1925. She was of Irish- Cherokee decent. Her parents died at an early age and I was told she was raised by her grandmother and lived on a farm. After her grandmother died, she went to an orphanage. My adoptive mother told me that Evans was a family name and that she had family in Ohio. Edna lived in Miami, Florida when I was born in Nov 1945. According to non-identifing informaton, she later was married and possibly moved back to Ohio. Does anyone know about this person? I would love to know about my roots and meet my mother if she is still living, at least see a picture and know what whe looked like.
