I'm his great great granddaughter. White (Whiteford English Evans) was my great grandfather. His only surviving son, James Manning Evans, Sr., was my grandfather (I have the names of his two sons who died in infancy--Whiteford's wife Emma Manning Evans died shortly after their sons did.) My grandmother was Cornelia Betty Jones Evans. I have all of their dates of birth and death, too, plus other family members names and dates. I'd never heard about "Jim Bud" before.
