Hi, I am looking for the daughter of this THOMAS EVANS who may have been the wife of Benedict Sweet , If any one has the slightest clue, please contact me Volumn IV in Beechman Patent: Evans family page 891 "The children of Thomas Evans and his widow were customers at the Merritt store on Quaker Hill from 1767-1772. A widow Evans had an account as early as 1767, charged to account of William Holloway. "Mother" Evans was noted on Benedict Sweet account in 1771. Children; 3. i Thomas b. ca, 1739 ii ?Dau: m. Benedict, b. Oct. 30, 1741 at East Greenwich, RI son of William and Martha (Cass) Sweet. (Assumed per store account).
