    1. [EVANS] WORTHINGTON - EVANS Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Marie H. WORTHINGTON which was taken at a studio in Homer, Michigan. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with Marie likely in her teens at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Marie and her family: Mary H. WORTHINGTON b. 15 May 1882 in Homer, MI to parents Charles WORTHINGTON & Clara EVANS. Marie married Ira KETCHUM on 23 Jun 1903 in Homer, MI. Census records provide the following information: 1900 census of Home Township, MI: Charles C. The only problem is the date is wrong should be 1677 instead of 1682. Her elder brothers were Jonathan, and Richard III d.bs 1670 and 1673. She is not however listed in her fasther's will as the eldest daughter Rebecca is. Ann would have been born in 1677. Joanthan, Richard III, Rebecca, Ann are named in this order in her father Richard Jr.'s will. Their mother Elizabeth is the Executrix of his will. 1. [EVANS] George Evans Clarke County Georgia and his descendants
    2. Margie Daniels
    3. George Evans died in Clarke County Georgia and his will is probated there. George had several sons William Evans who married Wilmouth Stokes and John Evans whose grandson was Gen. Clement Anselm Evans CSA. We know from the will of George his wife was Hannah and it is thought to be Hannah Johnson. I am trying to gather informaiton for the lines of Geoge and Hannah's children. John Evans served in the AR. William died in Putnam County Georgia and Wilmouth moved to Crawford County with her daughter and is shown as a member of the Mt. Paran Church in Crawford where she died and is buried. Druscilla Evans daughter of William and Wilmouth married John Paschal Glover in Putnam 1812 and moved to Crawford when after a land lottery. The removed to Barbour County Alabama about 1842 and both died there she in 1859 and he in 1862. On the 1850 census report there is a Georgianne Evans and I have not been able to determine whose child she is. If you have any information on this family I would greatly appreciate the help. 3. "WHO, WHEN, & WHERE" !! That is always necessary to try and find the "Right Evans" and not get it confused with the wrong one. You gave us the "WHO & WHEN", but you did not give us the WHERE !!! WHERE was Your "Ann Evans" born, married, or raised ??? If you don't know for sure, then what is your best guess !!! If you don't have a clue, then tell us that. I personally know of a few "Ann Evans" that might match up with yours depending on WHERE your "Ann Evans" was born or lived, or where she was married (since you know the date), or WHO SHE MARRIED, or Where She Died !!! Etc, Etc !!!
